Theme Park Model, Dubai Park

RJ Models was commissioned to build a detailed physical model of Dubai Park. The large-scale development covers approximately 25 million square feet and incorporates numerous themed buildings and entertainment facilities, including carousels and other amusement attractions.

More than 100 attractions were reproduced within the model, creating a detailed miniature representation of the proposed park rather than a simplified massing study.

Running and flashing lights were incorporated into the model to meet the client's presentation requirements and create a more immersive viewing experience.

Theme Park Model in Abu Dhabi

RJ Models was commissioned to build this theme park model for a proposed year-round development in Abu Dhabi designed to support tourism and leisure activities.

Laser-cutting techniques were used to reproduce attractions including boat rides, water-play areas, retail shops, cafés, restaurants and roller coasters, giving viewers a clear overview of the different entertainment zones within the park.

Sophisticated lighting was installed to create strong visual effects and an engaging presentation atmosphere. 3D carving technology was also used to reproduce complex forms and improve the overall realism of the model.

The proposed theme park was planned with support from private and institutional investors, and the physical model was displayed in a city exhibition hall for public viewing.

Monkey Kingdom Theme Park Model in China

The Monkey Kingdom Theme Park, designed by Thinkwell Group and developed by Zhonghong Real Estate, was planned as a major tourist destination in the Honglou Lake area of Huairou District, Beijing. Inspired by the traditional Chinese story Journey to the West, the project was designed to communicate elements of Chinese culture through themed attractions.

One of the most distinctive features of the model is the miniature Mount Huaguo, complete with a waterfall and surrounding landscape. Other attractions, including miniature cars, cruise boats and themed buildings, were also reproduced to help viewers understand the variety of experiences planned for the park.

LED lighting was integrated into the model to create a realistic night-time presentation and highlight key attractions. The completed model was displayed on a large exhibition stand for government review, public presentation and other exhibition activities.

Jumeirah Cove Theme Park Model in Dubai

Jumeirah Cove Theme Park was conceived as a coastal destination combining leisure, hospitality and entertainment. The physical model presents the project within its waterfront setting and communicates how the different development components relate to one another.

Many of the recreational facilities were produced using laser cutting and 3D printing, while pre-made elements such as plants, lampposts and scale figures were carefully selected and assembled to complete the surrounding environment.

The fully detailed and painted model includes residential, commercial and hospitality elements, including a boutique hotel, helping viewers understand the mixed-use character of the development.

Displayed in the exhibition gallery, the model provided visitors and stakeholders with a three-dimensional overview of the family-oriented attractions and overall park layout.

Theme Park Model, Ocean Park in Hong Kong

Located in the Southern District of Hong Kong, Ocean Park is a major family attraction featuring marine animals, educational exhibits and a wide range of recreational facilities. The physical model brings these different areas together in a single presentation.

Because Ocean Park also has an educational role in promoting animal conservation, RJ Models incorporated signboards and other visual elements to distinguish different animal and attraction zones within the model.

Foam, plastic and styrene were used extensively to reproduce the varied terrain, attractions and landscape while maintaining the visual character of the original park design.

The model served both as a design-presentation tool and as an exhibition model for communicating the redevelopment of the park to visitors and other stakeholders.

Sahara Hybrid Theme Park Model in India

Producing the Sahara Hybrid Theme Park model required extensive landscape detailing because the client's design called for a large amount of miniature vegetation to communicate the concept of a more environmentally conscious amusement park.

One distinctive feature of the model is the use of resin water and high-performance glass to create realistic reflections and waterfall effects. Scale yachts, trees and other landscape elements were also incorporated to complete the waterside environment.

Interactive lighting systems were added to make the model more vibrant and realistic, helping the various attractions and landscape features stand out during presentation.

Using the final architectural drawings provided by the client, RJ Models fabricated the model to show developers and the public how the proposed Sahara Hybrid Theme Park would appear when completed. Interactive display features also helped make the model a prominent part of the exhibition.

Sentosa Theme Park Model in Singapore

RJ Models was commissioned to produce a theme park model for Sentosa in Singapore, a major tourist destination offering recreational activities for both children and adults.

Different water effects were created to represent lakes, pools, caves and climbing areas, while other attractions such as tropical landscaping, bamboo bridges and fantasy-themed environments were also reproduced in detail.

Internal and external running and flashing lights were incorporated into the model to create a more dynamic atmosphere and enhance the viewing experience.

The model can also function effectively as a park-entry display, helping visitors understand the layout and locate key attractions while serving as an engaging visual presentation in its own right.

Theme Park Model in Islamabad

This water theme park in Islamabad was designed as a new leisure destination offering recreation and relaxation for visitors. The developer commissioned a physical theme park model to communicate the overall concept and arrangement of the proposed attractions.

Two miniature Ferris wheels were used as prominent visual landmarks, while other amusement rides and themed attractions were reproduced using a combination of rapid prototyping, laser cutting, 3D printing and hand-finishing techniques.

The model also includes water features such as wading pools, water slides and a large swimming pool, helping viewers understand the range of water-based activities planned for different age groups.

Upon completion, the highly detailed model was placed on public display in the park showroom, where visitors could study both the overall layout and smaller attraction details.

Dubai Old Village Theme Park Model

Dubai Old Village Theme Park is a themed attraction inspired by the atmosphere of a traditional village. The physical model recreates the architecture, landscape and supporting elements of the development within a compact three-dimensional presentation.

In addition to the main attractions, smaller details such as carriages, boats, yachts and planted areas help establish the character of the setting. RJ Models reproduced the natural surroundings and landscape elements to strengthen the overall sense of place.

The model was developed to communicate the client's intention to create an environment combining entertainment with local cultural and architectural references.

The completed theme park model presents the overall village atmosphere while allowing viewers to understand both the principal attractions and smaller environmental details.
